Country Music Hall of Fame Welcomes Tim McGraw, Paul Overstreet, and The Stanley Brothers in 2026

Nashville, TN – The Country Music Association (CMA) today announced the highly anticipated class of 2026 inductees into the Country Music Hall of Fame: Tim McGraw, songwriter Paul Overstreet, and The Stanley Brothers. The announcement was made at a press conference held at the Rotunda at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, and was also streamed live on the CMA’s YouTube channel.

Inductee Categories

Each artist is being recognized for their unique contributions to country music within a specific category. Paul Overstreet will be inducted in the Songwriter category, which is awarded every third year. The Stanley Brothers will be honored in the Veterans Era Artist category, recognizing artists who began their careers before 1980. Tim McGraw will be inducted as a Modern Era Artist.
