Sixth consecutive day of attacks on Moscow

Russian anti-aircraft defense has shot down three Ukrainian drones in and around Moscowwhich has been the target of a sixth straight day of attacks, Russian authorities said early on Wednesday.

An unmanned aircraft “was neutralized by means of electronic warfare and, after losing control, collided with a building under construction in Moscow citywithout causing casualties, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on Telegram, accusing kyiv of being behind the attack.

According to the mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobyaninseveral windows of two five-story buildings were damaged and the emergency services are inspecting the perimeter, he said in his Telegram account.

The Russian news agency RIA Novosti had previously reported that an “explosion” had been heard in the Moscow City business district, in the west of the Russian capital, about 5 kilometers from the Kremlin.

Two other aircraft were destroyed by anti-aircraft defense in the districts of Mozhaisky12 kilometers from the center of Moscow, and Khimkiin the capital region, about 20 kilometers northwest of the Kremlin, the Defense Ministry reported.
