Epson Launches Lifestudio LED Projectors
For nearly 25 years, Epson has been the world’s best-selling projector brand. Yet, they haven’t made a significant splash in the growing portable home entertainment market – until now.Today, epson introduces its innovative and attractive Lifestudio range of LED projectors, aiming to change that.

The Lifestudio projectors consist of two series, each with two models, available in various colors. They’re designed to fit any home entertainment need and room décor. Epson integrates Bose sound systems and, for the first time, uses portable projection-amiable RGB-LED 3LCD technology to maximize performance for the price.
The new Lifestudio Flex EF-71 and EF72, along with the Lifestudio Pop EF-62B/N and EF-61W/G/R models, all feature epson’s 3LCD Smart projector powered by Triple Engine technology. Epson claims this delivers images up to three times brighter than comparable single-chip DLP projectors, all while remaining cost-effective. All four projectors also support high dynamic range (HDR) video.
I recently saw the EF-72 in action, competing against popular portable projectors in typical living room lighting. I was impressed by its brightness, colour, and sharpness.
The Epson pop EF-61W offers a more compact, affordable choice to the Flex models, though with reduced brightness.
