Police Detain Man Suspected of Collaborating with Russia in Kharkiv Region

A man suspected of collaborating with the Russian Federation has been detained in the Kharkiv region. this was reported by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).

According to the examination, the suspect, a resident of the Kupiansk district, voluntarily offered his assistance to the occupiers after the start of the full-scale invasion. He provided the Russian military with information about the locations of Ukrainian military personnel and equipment, as well as the movements of local residents.

The SBU reports that the man was motivated by pro-Russian views and a desire to gain favor with the occupiers. He faces up to 12 years in prison for collaboration.

The investigation is ongoing.
