Bears Cornerback Jaylon Johnson on Injured Reserve

Teh Chicago Bears are navigating the first part of their 2025 season without key cornerback jaylon Johnson, who is currently on injured reserve.

Johnson initially missed games due to a groin injury. He returned in Week 2 against the Detroit Lions, but unluckily suffered a new injury requiring core muscle surgery. The team placed him on injured reserve following the loss to Detroit, hoping for a potential return later in the season.

johnson recently shared that his surgery was successful and he’s now focused on daily recovery. However, he isn’t the only defensive player sidelined. Cornerback Kyler Gordon and linebacker T.J. Edwards have also missed meaningful time, creating challenges for the Bears defense.
