– What we met was a lot of chaos. There were people who were watching. (…) It’s really a little difficult to explain everything that happened there and then, because it came so abruptly.

That’s what 25 -year -old Nicolai Jensen tells NRK.

Together with 19 -year -old Joachim Storli, the two were some of the first to arrive on Sunday night at E8 outside tromsø. Five people, including three 18-year-olds, were later confirmed dead in the accident.

– We realized pretty much that was quite serious. There were intense views and impressions that came at once, says Jensen.

– We did what we could. We first went up and were met by a nasty sight. We then managed to gather. We tried to do what we could to see if it was life we could save, says Storli.
