The specialists: clear preferences
For some drivers, a clear favorite route emerges from the statistics.
Max Verstappen is the undisputed king of the Red Bull Ring. The Dutchman has won three times in Spielberg, scored 132 points and achieved an average qualifying position of 2.0. In the race, his average is even better at 1.67.
Sergio Pérez also has a clear preference: Mexico City. the local hero has won twice on his home track, scored 85 points and has an average qualifying position of 3.0.
Lewis Hamilton feels particularly at home in Monza. The Mercedes driver has won five times at the Autodromo Nazionale, scored 123 points and achieved an average qualifying position of 4.2.
George Russell is particularly successful at the Circuit of the Americas. The Mercedes driver has won once in Austin, scored 75 points and achieved an average qualifying position of 5.0.

Fernando Alonso has celebrated many successes on different routes. He has won the most Grand Prix races at Hockenheimring, Sakhir and Sepang (3 each).He scored the most points at the Hungaroring (153) and achieved the most points results there (17). His best average qualifying position is 7.2 at the Hungaroring,and his best average race position is 5.4 there.
Charles Leclerc is particularly successful at Monza. The Ferrari driver has won twice at the Autodromo Nazionale, scored 115 points and achieved an average qualifying position of 5.7. His best average race position is 4.1 at Monza.
Mixed: A journeyman on every route
For some drivers, their successes are so mixed that it is not possible to identify a clear favorite route. This is the case with Alex Albon, Pierre Gasly and Lance Stroll. All three have been on the podium several times, Gasly is also a Grand Prix winner, but they achieved their best results in the categories on different routes.

The Rookies: Best Performances on New Courses
Some drivers in this year’s group haven’t finished a full Formula 1 season, so it’s hard to say which tracks they specialize in. However, the rookies delivered some extraordinary results. Isaac Hadjar‘s career highlight was his first podium in Zandvoort. gabriel Bortoleto could become a specialist at the Hungaroring. The Sauber rookie reached sixth place and was half a second faster than Nico Hülkenberg in qualifying. Franco colapinto had his best weekend in his second F1 appearance. Eighth place in qualifying and the race at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2024 was his career highlight so far.
