Situation in Pokrovsk and Mirnograd Areas Remains Challenging

Analysts at the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) note that the situation in the Pokrovsk and Mirnograd areas of the Donetsk region remains difficult as Ukrainian troops fight to hold the flanks of the so-called “pocket” and Russian occupation forces continue to advance in the area.

Details: The report states that Ukrainian troops reportedly recently liberated Rodinskoye (north of Pokrovsk) in an attempt to hold the northern flank of the pocket.
