Utah State Gymnastics Welcomes Three Future Aggies

LOGAN, Utah – Utah State head gymnastics coach Kristin White announced the addition of three future Aggies on Wednesday. The incoming class includes Leighton Didier, Julia Gothers, and Stella Guth.

“We are thrilled to welcome these three incredible women to our program,” said White. “They all come from some of the most prestigious club programs in the country. Their technique and skill level will be a tremendous asset to our team. We look forward to Aggie nation seeing Leighton, Julia, and Stella in the Spectrum in 2027. We are excited to welcome our dynamic freshmen trio.”

Leighton Didier | Fort Worth, Texas | Empire Gymnastics

Didier has trained at Empire Gymnastics in Bedford, Texas, for six years under coaches Chris Brashier, Beatrice Mihaila, and Marcus Harlin.

Didier is a five-time national qualifier. In 2025, she was the Texas State champion in the all-around, vault, bars, and beam, and the Region 3 Regional Champion in the all-around, beam, and floor. In 2024, Didier placed third on floor at the National Championship, was the Texas State Champion on beam and floor, and the Region 3 Regional Champion on floor. In 2023, Didier placed third on beam at the National Championship and was the Region 3 Regional Champion on beam and floor. In 2021, Didier was the Texas State Champion in the all-around.

“Leighton is a gorgeous gymnast,” said White. “Her presentation and showmanship are showstopping.We are thrilled to welcome an incredible all-around athlete to our program. She will make immediate impacts in our lineups from day one. Her charismatic personality and work ethic will be a great addition to our team.”

The daughter of Johnathan and Reamelle Didier is set to graduate from ABEKA Academy online, located in Pensacola, Fla., in 2026.

“I chose Utah State because it felt like home and the program has the same values as me,” said Didier.
