A man in his 50s was hospitalized Saturday night following an assault in a central town square. Police responded to a report of an injured individual at approximately 01:43 local time, as detailed in the police log by operations manager Ronny Mangseth.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a man suffering from visible injuries, including cuts to his face. Paramedics transported the victim to Kalnes Hospital for treatment. Authorities confirmed the man was conscious and able to communicate, stating he had been beaten.
