DeMarcus Pritchett joined the Auburn university football program as a highly-regarded offensive tackle prospect following a successful high school career at George Washington Carver High School in Columbus, Georgia.He is the son of Robert and Antoinette Pritchett, with a birthday of December 19th, and is known to teammates as “Dooly.”
High School Career
Pritchett was a standout player under coach Jarvis Jones at George Washington Carver High School. He played a key role in the team’s 2024 Class AA Georgia State Championship victory. His performance earned him recognition from several prominent recruiting services. ESPN rated Pritchett as a four-star recruit, ranking him as the 39th prospect in Georgia and the 40th offensive tackle nationally. 247Sports also recognized his talent, assigning him a three-star rating and placing him at No. 79 in Georgia and No. 55 among offensive tackles. Rivals.com rated him as a three-star prospect, ranking him 73rd in the state of Georgia.
pritchett was further honored with selections to the 2024 Super 7 Macon Touchdown Club and the 2024 rising Senior Bowl. In addition to football, he also participated in track and field during his high school career.
