Acer has refreshed its Swift line of thin and light laptops with five new models, all incorporating AI capabilities. The Acer Swift 16 AI stands out as a flagship device designed for digital creators, featuring what Acer calls the “world’s largest haptic touchpad” offering stylus support and a vibrant 16-inch 3K OLED touchscreen display.
For business professionals prioritizing portability, the Acer Swift Edge AI is available in 14-inch and 16-inch variants, measuring a mere 13.95mm thick and weighing under 1kg.These models boast Intel Core Ultra 9 processors,up to 32GB of RAM,and up to 1TB of storage,coupled with a responsive 3K OLED display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate.
Rounding out the Swift lineup, the Acer Swift Go 14 AI and 16 AI strike a balance between creativity and productivity, offering 2K or 3K displays, intel Core Ultra X9 processors, up to 32GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of storage. All Swift AI models leverage the power of Microsoft Copilot for enhanced AI-driven functionality.
Powerful Gaming Laptops for Immersive Experiences
Acer also unveiled new additions to its gaming laptop lineup. The Predator Helios Neo 16S AI is a top-tier gaming machine equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU, up to 64GB of RAM, and up to 2TB of storage. Its immersive experience is further enhanced by a 16-inch OLED display with HDR support.
the Acer Nitro V 16 AI provides a compelling gaming experience with an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor and the same RTX 5070 GPU found in the Predator model. It supports up to 32GB of RAM and 2TB of storage. A more accessible Nitro V 16S AI model offers a thinner chassis and similar specifications.
Immersive Displays and a Projector for Entertainment
Acer expanded its display offerings with four new gaming monitors and a projector. The Predator XB273U F6 boasts a 2560×1440 resolution and a blazing-fast 500Hz refresh rate,configurable up to 1000Hz at lower resolutions. The Predator X34 F3 features a 3440×1440 resolution, a 360Hz refresh rate, and a curved QD-OLED panel.
The Nitro XV270X P offers a 5K resolution at 27 inches with a 330Hz refresh rate, while the ProDesigner PE320QX, geared towards professionals, showcases a 31.5-inch display with 6016×3384 resolution and 600 nits of peak brightness.
Acer also introduced the Vero HL1820 4K RGB laser projector, boasting a 1080p/240Hz mode optimized for gaming, initially available in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Acer Enters Electric Mobility with the Predator ES Storm Pro
In a surprising move, Acer unveiled the Predator ES Storm Pro e-scooter, designed for “high-performance city riding.” this folding scooter features a 500W rear hub motor (with a peak output of up to 1200W), multiple riding modes, a range of up to 60km on a single charge, and integrated smart tag holders. It is currently slated for release in Europe.
