Teen Injured in Albany Shooting

Albany, NY – The Albany police department is currently investigating a shooting that occurred on Sunday evening. A 16-year-old male arrived at Memorial Hospital with a gunshot wound to his arm around 8:40 p.m.

According to police reports, officers were dispatched to the hospital after receiving notification of the teen’s arrival. He received initial treatment at memorial Hospital before being transferred to Albany Medical Center for further care.Authorities have stated that the injuries are not life-threatening.
