Transjakarta Resumes Full Service After Weather Disruptions
Jakarta, Indonesia – January 25, 2026 – PT Transjakarta announced today that it’s entire network has returned to normal operation following temporary service adjustments due to recent extreme weather and flooding in Jakarta.
The full restoration of service comes as weather conditions improve and floodwaters recede across the city. According to Transjakarta’s Head of Public Relations and CSR, Ayu Wardhani, all services – including main corridors, feeder routes, and Mikrotrans – are now fully operational.
“In total, 225 routes are ready to provide smooth transportation for our passengers across all operational areas,” Wardhani stated.
Transjakarta is encouraging the public to utilize public transportation, especially during weekends, as a key strategy to alleviate traffic congestion in Jakarta.
Previously, the company implemented route diversions and service adjustments to prioritize passenger safety during the adverse weather conditions. With the situation now stabilized, all routes have been returned to their original paths.
The resumption of full service aims to provide reliable transportation options for commuters and contribute to smoother traffic flow throughout the capital city.
