Hahn Loeser & Parks Expands Construction litigation Capabilities with Addition of Lauren S. Purdy

Columbus, OH – January 28, 2026 – Hahn Loeser & parks LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Lauren S. Purdy as a Partner in its Columbus office. Purdy joins the firm’s Litigation and Construction practices, bringing with her fifteen years of extensive experience in construction law, regulatory compliance, and complex litigation.

Purdy’s arrival significantly strengthens Hahn Loeser’s ability to serve clients in the construction industry, especially those involved in large-scale infrastructure projects and disputes with governmental entities.Prior to joining the firm, Purdy served for fifteen years with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), most recently as the agency’s first Deputy director of the Division of Chance, Diversity, and Inclusion. In this role, she led a team of 41 professionals, successfully navigating the agency to federal compliance and protecting vital funding streams.

Her tenure at ODOT also included serving as Team Leader for the Brent Spence Bridge Corridor Project,a landmark initiative representing ODOT’s inaugural Progressive Design Build Project. This experience provides Purdy with a unique understanding of innovative project delivery methods and the challenges associated with large-scale construction endeavors.

Purdy’s practice encompasses a broad range of construction-related legal services, including first-chair litigation, contractor disputes, administrative hearings, contract procurement and enforcement, and consumer-protection litigation. She also possesses significant experience in appellate work and post-judgment motions, consistently achieving favorable outcomes for her clients, including prosperous Rule 60(B) relief. furthermore, she has a proven track record of representing contractors in negotiations and defending claims against governmental authorities.

Purdy earned her Juris Doctor from Capital University School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from ohio Wesleyan University.Her addition underscores Hahn Loeser & Parks’ commitment to providing complete legal solutions to clients in the construction and broader business communities.
