IS OSIMHEN OFFside AT GALATASARAY’S GOAL?
Bulent Yildirim: I think the goal decision is valid. There is no violation in this goal. A high ball comes from above. If this ball had come low or off the ground, Osimhen‘s footwork would have had more impact. I think this goal is clean.
Sea Shepherd: Since the field decision here is a goal, it is the right decision for VAR not to intervene. The goalkeeper sees the ball from start to finish. I accept the decision on the field.
Bahattin Duran: When I called it offside, I didn’t say it because it blocked the goalkeeper’s view. The goalkeeper is momentarily confused. The goalkeeper always sees the ball. I think Osimhen’s foot was close to both the ball and the goalkeeper and the goalkeeper was slightly affected by this. I respect anyone who says it’s not offside. It is normal that VAR does not intervene. This ball is offside for me.
