Urgent request for blood donors, given low reserves in the face of the need to save lives
We make an urgent call, appealing to the solidarity of donors, given the need to increase the low blood reserves at the San Carlos Hospital.
When you come to donate, please indicate that you are doing so in the name of Yeimy Jara GonzΓ‘lez, who requires our help so that she can receive a transfusion as soon as possible.
Donating blood saves lives and today more than ever the support of generous people is needed.

Donation schedule:Monday to Thursday: 6:45 am to 11:30 am
Friday: 6:45 am to 10:00 am
Requirements to donate blood:-Have good health.
-Age between 18 and 65 years (present identification document).
-Weigh at least 52 kg.
-Not having had a cold, vomiting, diarrhea or infections in the last month.
-If you took antibiotics, wait 14 days after finishing treatment.
-Do not have open or infected wounds.
-Diabetic or hypertensive people must be controlled and without complications.
-Tattoos, piercings or micropigmentation with a minimum of 6 months of having been performed.
Recommendations before donating:-Eat a light breakfast or wait 3 hours after fatty meals
-Drink plenty of fluids before and after donation
If the donation is in the name of a specific person, please include the full name and ID number.
