Edenílson to Botafogo: Grêmio Departure Confirmed by Journalist

The midfielder Edenilson is leaving the Grêmio to reinforce the cast of Botafogo for the 2026 season, according to journalist Farid Germano Filho, who covers Tricolor Gaúcho, this Saturday (14/2).

According to Farid, the Mirassol there was another interested club. Other journalists from Rio Grande do Sul are stating that Edenílson no longer plays for Grêmio, but without saying what the player’s fate will be.

Edenílson is 36 years old and, this season, scored three goals in seven games for Grêmio. He accumulates tickets for Corinthians, Genoa, Udinese, International e Atlético-MGin addition to having played in two matches for Selection Brazilianem 2021.
