Andrea Corinaldesi Triumphs at ISOP Main Event in Campione
The third stage of the Italian Series of Poker (ISOP) concluded on Monday evening with a victory for Andrea Corinaldesi, known as “Moto,” who defeated Alessio Astone in the heads-up final. Silvia Lollino finished in third place.
Corinaldesi’s Path to Victory
The final day of the ISOP Main Event began with 26 players competing for the title. Alessio Astone steadily climbed the rankings, even as Silvia Lollino, a young player, demonstrated a strong performance throughout the three-day event. Andrea Corinaldesi maintained a mid-table position before a shift in momentum allowed him to eliminate Lollino and then reach a deal with Astone.
Corinaldesi secured the win with a flush on the river after an agreement was reached between the two finalists regarding the prize pool distribution.
Prize Distribution
Following the deal, Andrea Corinaldesi received €33,300 for his victory, while Alessio Astone took home €32,000. Silvia Lollino earned €16,200 for her third-place finish.
Other ISOP Stage 3 Winners
In addition to the Main Event, other side events were held on Monday. Ettore Ricci and Nicola Bosso emerged victorious in the 6-max and evening tournament, respectively.
Family Legacy and Future Events
Andrea Corinaldesi’s win marks a family achievement, as his daughter previously won a poker tournament. He can now share his ISOP title with friend and fellow finalist Alessandro Miotti.
The ISOP season continues with the penultimate stage in April. The attention now shifts to France, where the European Poker Tour (EPT) begins its new season with EPT Paris.
