Titanium Court: A Surreal Strategy Game from AP Thomson and Fellow Traveller

Indie games label Fellow Traveller and developer AP Thomson have announced Titanium Court, a unique strategy game described as “surreal” and “brilliant,” slated for release on PC in early 2026. A demo is currently available on Steam and will be featured during Steam Next Fest from February 23 to March 2.

Gameplay: A Blend of Genres

Titanium Court defies easy categorization, combining elements of tower defense, match-3 puzzle games and roguelike progression. Players navigate runs consisting of seven battles. The game is divided into High Tide and Low Tide phases. During High Tide, players match terrain tiles to gather resources and manipulate the game board. Low Tide allows players to spend those resources on deploying units, casting spells, and constructing buildings. Battles unfold automatically over a 30-second duration.

A Mysterious Narrative

Between runs, players uncover the secrets of the Court, a peculiar realm filled with magic, faeries, and references to baseball. The developers intentionally maintain an air of mystery, encouraging players to experience the game’s surprises firsthand. According to Fellow Traveller, the less known beforehand, the more enjoyable the experience will be.

Developer and Publisher Background

AP Thomson is the developer behind Titanium Court, with previous credits including Beglitched, Swap Sword, Fortune-499, and Consume Me. Titanium Court has already received recognition, earning four nominations at the Independent Games Festival (IGF) awards.

Fellow Traveller is an indie games publishing label focused on narrative-driven experiences. They are known for publishing titles such as Citizen Sleeper, The Pale Beyond, Genesis Noir, and Paradise Killer. More information about Fellow Traveller can be found on their website.
