Fruce Closes Last Outlet in Singapore After Nine Years

Singaporean beverage chain Fruce has permanently closed its final outlet at Wisma Atria shopping mall, marking the end of an era for the homegrown brand known for its unique fruit-based drinks. The closure comes after a brief attempt to keep the store open following an initial announcement of its shutdown in January.

Wisma Atria confirmed that Fruce ceased operations on January 19, and the store has been removed from the mall’s online directory. A spokesperson for Wisma Atria announced that Miki Mizu, another beverage concept, will be taking over the space and is expected to open at the end of February or in early March Straits Times.

A Rollercoaster of Announcements

Fruce initially announced its impending closure on January 10, with a planned last day of operations on January 14. The announcement was met with disappointment from fans, who praised the brand for its distinctive flavors, including durian, cempedak, and avocado Straits Times.

However, the brand surprised customers with a reversal on January 13, posting on Instagram that the closure was “officially on hold.” Fruce stated they would continue serving customers at the Wisma Atria location until further notice, citing a positive response from the community Straits Times.

Despite this temporary reprieve, Fruce ultimately closed its doors for good. As of February 19, a hoarding with Miki Mizu’s logo was visible at the former Fruce unit Straits Times.

Brand Legacy and Fan Reactions

Fruce first opened its original store in Wisma Atria in December 2016 and expanded to at least six other locations, including Nex, Our Tampines Hub, Lau Pa Sat, Hillion Mall, Sun Plaza, and Yew Tee Point. All other outlets have since closed Straits Times.

Customers expressed their sadness over the closure on social media. One marketing professional, Gooi Jia Hui, recalled enjoying Fruce’s unique flavors and the frequent queues at the store Straits Times.

Another fan, Ann Wee, lamented the loss of a homegrown brand that offered a refreshing alternative to bubble tea Straits Times. A TikTok user even posted a video mourning the loss of their favorite avocado coconut drink, garnering over 168,600 views Straits Times.

As of February 20, 2026, Fruce’s Instagram bio still lists the Wisma Atria outlet, though its last post was on November 25, 2025 Straits Times.
