Anna Wilson, Devlin Farm Resident, Remembered Following Peaceful Passing

Claremorris, County Mayo, Ireland – Anna Wilson, a beloved resident of Devlin Farm, Ahena, Claremorris, has passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Her death marks a significant loss for the local community, and tributes have begun pouring in from friends, neighbors, and family.

Family and Remembrance

Anna is survived by her husband, Oliver; her daughter, Hazel; her son, Daniel; her mother, Siv; her father, Donal; and her siblings, Siv’s husband Thommy and Donal’s wife Rita, as well as numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and extended family.

A wake will be held at Gilligan’s Funeral Home, Market Claremorris (F12YP74) on Sunday, February 22nd, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. The funeral cortege will then proceed to St. Michael’s Church, Taugheen, on Monday, February 23rd, for a Requiem Mass at 12:00 noon, followed by burial in Taugheen New Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to either Mayo Roscommon Hospice (https://www.hospice.ie/donations/donate-online/) or Food for People. The family has requested privacy at their home during this hard time.

Anna’s family has expressed their deep gratitude to the doctors, consultants, nurses, palliative care team, and hospice team at University Hospital Galway (UHG), Mayo University Hospital (MUH) Castlebar, and the Mayo Hospice for their exceptional care. They also extend their thanks to Anna’s friends for their unwavering support, care, and love.
