Two Nampa Men Die in Single-Vehicle Crash

NAMPA, Idaho — Two Nampa men died early Saturday morning in a single-vehicle crash in Canyon County, according to the Idaho State Police. The incident occurred on Lewis Lane near S. McDermott Road.

Details of the Crash

At approximately 12:12 a.m., a black Jaguar F-Type was traveling eastbound on Lewis Lane when the driver failed to negotiate a curve in the road as reported by the Idaho State Police. The vehicle left the roadway, struck a canal bank, and then collided with both a tree and a shed .

Victims Identified

Both occupants of the Jaguar, a 50-year-old man and a 66-year-old man, were residents of Nampa and were pronounced dead at the scene .

Investigation Ongoing

The Idaho State Police is continuing to investigate the cause of the crash. The roadway was blocked for approximately 3 hours and 27 minutes to allow emergency responders to work. Assisting agencies included the Canyon County Sheriff’s Office, Canyon County Paramedics, and the Kuna Fire Department .
