Jasmine Cawley Named SEC Freshman of the Week

Impressive Performance Against Auburn

Cawley, a native of Clermont, Florida, achieved a career-high score of 9.925 on the beam and added a 9.900 on floor exercise during the Crimson Tide’s rivalry meet against No. 18 Auburn. This performance helped Alabama achieve a season-high-matching team total of 197.950, marking their first victory over Auburn at Neville Arena since 2018. Roll Tide

Sharing the Beam Title and Consistent Scores

The freshman shared the beam title with teammate Kylee Kvamme. Cawley has now recorded three consecutive scores of 9.900 or higher on the beam, including two away from home. During Week 7 of SEC competition, she posted the highest beam score among freshmen and tied for the highest floor score among rookies. Roll Tide

Cawley’s Season Achievements

• First career SEC weekly honor

Previous Accomplishments

Prior to joining the Alabama gymnastics team, Cawley demonstrated her talent as a Level 10 gymnast. She was the 2025 Region 8 Floor Champion with a score of 9.9, and likewise achieved notable scores at the 2025 Region 8 Championships: 9.8 on beam (1st place), 9.650 on bars (2nd place), and 9.950 on vault (1st place). Early Career and Commitment

Cawley began her gymnastics journey at Maine Academy of Gymnastics at age four. In 2019, she moved to Florida to train at Brandy Johnson’s Gymnastics in Clermont, FL. She committed to the University of Alabama in 2025. Jasmine Cawley Website
