Pokémon GO’s Bug Out 2026 Event: Blipbug Debut, Shiny Pokémon, and GO Pass Details

The Pokémon GO Bug Out 2026 event is set to bring fresh Pokémon, increased shiny chances, and special bonuses to trainers from March 17 to March 23, 2026. This event marks the debut of the Blipbug evolutionary line and the first opportunity to catch a shiny Sizzlipede.

Pokémon Debuts

Trainers can look forward to the arrival of Pokémon originally discovered in the Galar region: Blipbug, Dottler, and Orbeetle. Blipbug will require 25 Candy to evolve into Dottler, and an additional 100 Candy to evolve Dottler into Orbeetle. Pokémon GO Live, Pokémon GO Hub

Shiny Pokémon

Expect to find the following Pokémon appearing more frequently in the wild:

• Caterpie
• Dwebble

Different Pokémon will be attracted to Lure Modules throughout the event, with rotating daily spawns:

• March 17-19: Paras and Sizzlipede
