The company is set to debut the FRITZ!Box 6835 5G router and the FRITZ!Repeater 6700 Pro, designed to enhance connectivity and performance for homes and businesses.
FRITZ!Box 6835 5G: High-Speed 5G Connectivity with Wi-Fi 7
The FRITZ!Box 6835 5G is a new router designed for the 5G fixed-wireless access (FWA) market. It achieves download speeds of up to 2 Gbps and upload speeds of up to 900 Mbps over 5G networks, leveraging five-carrier aggregation (4×4 MIMO) and standalone architecture. Telecompaper reports this router supports both physical SIM cards and eSIMs and can be powered via USB-C, including through a power bank, offering flexibility in deployment.
Equipped with Wi-Fi 7 (WLAN-be), the FRITZ!Box 6835 5G delivers theoretical speeds of up to 3,500 Mbps – 2,880 Mbps in the 5 GHz frequency band and 688 Mbps at 2.4 GHz. It likewise features a 2,500 Mbps port and a 1,000 Mbps LAN port for wired connections.
FRITZ!Repeater 6700 Pro: Expanding Wi-Fi Coverage with Wi-Fi 7
For extending Wi-Fi coverage, FRITZ! is introducing the FRITZ!Repeater 6700 Pro. This powerful repeater utilizes four Wi-Fi radio units with a total of 24 antennas and Wi-Fi 7 technology, offering the following capabilities:
- 6 GHz: Up to 5,760 Mbps
- 5 GHz (x2): Up to 5,760 Mbps each
- 2.4 GHz: Up to 688 Mbps
The FRITZ!Repeater 6700 Pro also provides wired connectivity options with a 10,000 Mbps port and a 2,500 Mbps port, making it suitable for large households with numerous devices.
