Oldenburg TB Gymnasts Shine at State Championships, Qualify for Regio Cup
Oldenburg, Germany – February 26, 2026 – Gymnasts from the Oldenburg TB (OTB) delivered impressive performances at the state championships in the K levels, securing multiple medals and qualifications for the Regio Cup in Braunschweig this May. The competition, organized by the BTB Oldenburg, saw OTB athletes excel in various categories.
Championship Results
Camilla Sokiruk defended her title in the K 6 (8/9 years) category, showcasing a confident routine and finishing ahead of two gymnasts from Braunschweig. Willow Yin, competing in her first competition for the gymnastics association, achieved a commendable fourth-place finish, earning praise from coaches and fellow club members.
In the K 7 (10/11 years) category, Zlata Vorobiova secured a silver medal with her freestyle exercises, demonstrating skill in both ball work and routines without apparatus. Anastasia Midsijan earned a bronze medal in the K 10 (18+) category, competing with rope, hoop, and ball. Michelle Gutzmann, also from OTB, finished fourth in the same category, narrowly missing a medal after experiencing some difficulty with the hoop in her final round.
The OTB team of Sara Liamzina, Daria Shevchenko, and Arina Lashko triumphed in the group exercise, earning a gold medal for their performance with three balls.
Looking Ahead to the Regio Cup
Both Anastasia Midsijan and Michelle Gutzmann qualified for the Regio Cup in Braunschweig, providing further opportunities for OTB gymnasts to showcase their talent at a higher level of competition.

“The coaching team was very satisfied with the result of two titles, one runner-up, one bronze medal and two decent fourth places,” said department head and trainer Susanne Köster, along with coaches Nadine Kühn and Antonia Köster. “Congratulations on the achievements shown.”
