Quebec’s Vibrant Performance Arts Scene Heats Up This March
As Quebec battles a particularly harsh winter, its performance halls are offering a diverse range of events to entertain and inspire audiences. From legendary rock bands to innovative theatrical productions and electrifying concerts, March promises a rich cultural experience across the province.
Journey – The Final Frontier
Rock icons Journey are bringing their farewell tour, “The Final Frontier,” to Quebec this month. Fans can expect to hear classic hits like “Don’t Stop Believin’,” “Any Way You Aim for It,” and “Separate Ways” performed by Arnel Pineda and the band.
Date: March 12 at the Videotron Center.
Pierre Hébert – Grandiose
Comedian Pierre Hébert returns to the stage with his third one-man show, “Grandiose,” four years after completing his “The Taste for Risk” tour. Hébert explores the human pursuit of grandeur and meaning with a blend of humor and introspection.
Dates: March 11 and 12 at the Albert-Rousseau room.
Evangeline
The musical “Evangeline,” following a successful Montreal premiere, is now open to audiences in Quebec City. Starring Maude Cyr-Deschênes and Olivier Dion, this large-scale production tells the story of Évelyne Bellefontaine and Gabriel Lajeunesse, lovers separated by the Acadian deportation in the 18th century.
Dates: March 13 to 15 at the Grand Théâtre de Québec.
Macbeth
Director Robert Lepage presents a modern take on Shakespeare’s classic tragedy, “Macbeth.” This production sets the story within the world of bikers, featuring performances by Alexandre Goyette, Violette Chauveau, David Boutin, and Rodley Pitt.

Tina Live!
Celebrating the legacy of the late Tina Turner, singer Sylvie Desgroseillers leads “Tina Live!” A tribute show featuring Turner’s iconic songs like “Proud Mary,” “We Don’t Need Another Hero,” “Private Dancer,” and “What’s Love Got To Do With It,” accompanied by 13 singers, musicians, and dancers.
Date: March 19 at the Théâtre Capitole.
Loud
Rap fans can look forward to a “completely redesigned stage experience” with Loud, featuring hits from his catalog and tracks from his latest album, “Twelve out of Twelve.” Rymz will open for the artist.

K. Maro
Singer K. Maro will perform at the Imperial Bell, promoting his new album, “Place de Loréane.” Audiences can also anticipate renditions of his signature hit, “Femme Like U.”
