Tyler Reddick Makes NASCAR History with Third Consecutive Win

Tyler Reddick is off to a historic start in the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season, becoming the first driver to win the first three races of the year. The driver of the No. 45 23XI Racing Toyota secured his third consecutive victory at the DuraMAX Texas Grand Prix Powered by RelaDyne at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, on March 1, 2026.

Dominating Start to the Season

Reddick’s winning streak began with a victory in the Daytona 500 on February 16, followed by a win at Echo Park Speedway in Atlanta. His performance at Circuit of the Americas saw him hold off Shane van Gisbergen over the final 20 laps to cement his place in NASCAR history.

“It’s incredible. NASCAR’s always been super competitive but in this day and age where the field is so close, for us to be able to pull this off is true testament of teamwork, hard function in the offseason by everyone on this team, everyone at 23XI,” Reddick told KXAN-TV in Austin after the race. https://www.kxan.com/

“It’s super special to be on this kind of a run. We’re just gonna attempt to keep it going as long as we can. We’re kind of just in the right headspace throughout the week, and it’s been really sweet to just grab these wins like we have.”

Jordan’s Reaction and Team Success

Michael Jordan, co-owner of 23XI Racing alongside Denny Hamlin, was present at the race and celebrated Reddick’s win with a high five, exclaiming, “Three, baby, three!” Reddick shared a video of the exchange on X, accompanied by the caption “3 PEAT BABY.”

Jordan also posted a photo on X comparing Reddick’s achievement to the Chicago Bulls’ first three-peat championship in 1993, highlighting the significance of the accomplishment.

“Tyler came in with (the) most pressure,” Jordan told Fox Sports. https://www.foxsports.com/ “He had a chance to win three in a row. That’s the hardest one to win, you know. And he kept to his strategy. … Tyler did a good job. He beat good competition.”

23XI Racing’s Rise and Recent Legal Victory

23XI Racing, established in 2020, fields three full-time cars driven by Tyler Reddick, Bubba Wallace, and Riley Herbst, with Corey Heim driving a part-time car. The team recently achieved a significant legal victory in December, settling an anti-trust lawsuit against NASCAR and securing permanent charters for all its teams. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tyler_Reddick
