Spazio AGio: Teenagers Share Their Perspectives on Cremona’s Mental Wellness Space
CREMONA – A collaborative effort between the ASST of Cremona, the Municipality of Cremona, and the Cremonese Social Company has resulted in Spazio AGio, a listening and support service designed for young people aged 14 to 25. To promote the service among their peers, the ASST Cremona initiated a project with the Anguissola High School, engaging students in the communication program to create content tailored for a younger audience.
The project involves workshops led by educators Leone Lisè, Mariachiara Galli, Federica Lauritti, and Virginia Pini, alongside discussions with the ASST Cremona’s Communication and External Relations staff. On March 3, 2026, students began recording content, transforming ideas developed over recent months into materials for publication on platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
Students, divided into groups, presented their work, discussing strengths and areas for improvement. This exercise aimed to foster effective communication about a service specifically designed for them. When asked to describe Spazio AGio in a single word, responses centered around themes of safety, comfort, and a welcoming atmosphere.
Spazio AGio is a free listening and counseling service focused on psychological well-being for individuals between 14 and 25 years old. It provides a judgment-free space where young people can connect with professionals and, if needed, be directed to appropriate support services.
Located on the ground floor of the City of Cremona Foundation in Piazza Giovanni XXIII, Spazio AGio is open every Tuesday from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM, with no appointment necessary. The initiative aims to address youth distress early by offering an accessible space for seeking help.
