Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Rehabilitation Registered Nurse, you will collaborate with patients, their families and a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining overall accountability for assigned patients.
• Assisting patients with exercises and providing proper skin care to prevent breakdown.
• Ensuring patients are properly positioned to prevent immobility complications.
• Collaborating with the rehabilitation therapy team to manage acute medical needs and improve patients’ functional abilities in areas like mobility, cognition, activities of daily living, and communication.
• Administering medications as prescribed by physicians.
• Educating patients and families about medications and treatment plans.

Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher.
• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of South Carolina.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
