Bentley Bentayga Artenara Edition: A Celebration of Gran Canaria Roots

A decade after the Bentayga first entered the ultra-luxury SUV segment, Bentley is returning to the model’s geographic roots. The British automaker has announced the 2027 Bentayga Artenara Edition, a design-led variant inspired by Artenara, the highest village in Gran Canaria, which overlooks the Roque Bentayga peak that gave the SUV its name in 2015.

Inspired by Roque Bentayga

The Artenara Edition follows the color and finish combinations of the Bentayga Atelier, adding further refinement and presence to Bentley’s two-row SUV. As a “curated” model, the Artenara Edition bundles sought-after Mulliner features into a standard package, including the signature Mulliner double diamond grille. This allows Bentley to offer a Bentayga in the range for buyers who prioritize the ultra-luxury experience but may not require a full custom commission. Bentley Motors

Unique Interior Design Motif

The centerpiece of the Artenara Edition is a new mountain-inspired design motif. For the first time, Bentley has integrated the rugged topography surrounding the village of Artenara into the cabin. The motif is laser-etched onto the passenger-side dashboard, displaying the longitude and latitude coordinates of the Roque Bentayga peak. This mountain pattern is repeated via laser-crafted perforations on the seats and door panels. Bentley Media

Exterior Styling and Options

The Artenara Edition adopts a “clean and unembellished” presence, complete with body-color lower brightware on the bumpers and doors for a streamlined side profile. The optional Blackline Specification features dark exterior trim, including a gloss-black front skid panel and a gloss-black rear diffuser. Carscoops

Standard features include 22-inch gray Mulliner wheels. Bentley is also debuting a new 23-inch Super Lux wheel for the Artenara Edition, which will also be available for the Bentayga Azure and Mulliner EWB models. Bentley Media

Curated Color Themes

The Artenara Edition is available in eight primary exterior colors, each with its own complementary tri-color interior scheme. The available exterior colors include: Beluga, Granite, Havana, Verdant, Sequin Blue, Pale Brodgar, Glacier White, and Dark Sapphire.

Bentley has highlighted several flagship combinations:

  • The Classic Theme: A Verdant (green) exterior paired with a Saddle and Camel interior, enlivened by Cumbrian Green accents and a Piano Cumbrian Green veneer fascia, balanced by a Fiddleback Eucalyptus center console.
  • The Timeless Theme: A Pale Brodgar exterior matched with a Portland and Beluga interior split, utilizing Linen accents and a Piano Linen veneer.
  • The Sporting Theme: Sequin Blue exterior paired with the Blackline Specification, contrasted by blue accents on the steering wheel, console, and embroidered headrests.

While these themes represent the design team’s ideal specifications, Bentley noted that the Artenara Edition remains a canvas for further personalization. Buyers can still opt for a fully bespoke experience alongside the Mulliner team. Autoevolution

Powertrain and Pricing

The Bentayga Artenara Edition is available with Bentley’s 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 in standard or extended wheelbase variations, or as a V6 hybrid in a standard wheelbase configuration.

While official pricing varies by market, the Artenara Edition is expected to command a premium, with estimates starting around $250,000. Autoevolution

Like its peers in the 2027 lineup, the Bentayga Artenara Edition includes a three-year, unlimited-mileage warranty and Bentley’s fixed-price service plans for the first three years of ownership.

The My Bentley Connected Car service is expanding to six new global markets, including Australia and South Africa, offering app-based digital features, real-time traffic updates, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and emergency satellite services.
