AJ Dybantsa, F, BYU
Considered one of the top three candidates for the No. 1 overall pick alongside Darryn Peterson and Cameron Boozer, Dybantsa delivered a standout performance in BYU’s Big 12 Tournament debut. He led the Cougars to a 105-91 victory over Kansas State, scoring 40 points on an efficient 15-of-21 shooting from the field and 8-of-9 from the free-throw line. He also contributed nine rebounds and six assists, despite committing six turnovers.ESPN
Nick Martinelli, F, Northwestern
The Northwestern forward impressed in the Big Ten Tournament, scoring 24 points on 10-of-17 shooting as the 15-seed Wildcats defeated Purdue 76-66. Martinelli also grabbed nine rebounds, dished out three assists, and recorded a steal in 38 minutes.ESPN After exploring draft options last summer with limited interest, he returned to Evanston for his senior season. While questions remain about his ability to create separation at the next level, his recent performance has boosted his stock. Three Northwestern alums are currently in the NBA.
Joshua Jefferson, F, Iowa State
Jefferson solidified his status as a likely first-round pick with a dominant performance in the Big 12 Tournament. He scored 20 points on 8-for-13 shooting and grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds as Iowa State dominated Arizona State 91-41.ESPN
Stock Down
Cameron Carr, SG, Baylor
Projected to be selected in the 20s, Carr relied on free throws to achieve a solid scoring night in conference tournament play, but Baylor ultimately underperformed, falling to Arizona State 83-79. Carr scored 25 points on 6-of-17 shooting from the field and 8-of-9 from the free-throw line, adding seven rebounds.ESPN
Tounde Yessoufou, SG/SF, Baylor
Yessoufou, also expected to be a top-30 selection, struggled offensively in the loss to Arizona State, scoring 14 points on 6-of-16 shooting, including 0-of-7 from three-point range. He went just 2-of-4 from the free-throw line and committed four fouls.ESPN
Juke Harris, SG, Wake Forest
Despite Wake Forest’s 95-89 overtime victory in the ACC Tournament, Harris had a poor shooting performance, scoring 10 points on 3-of-18 shooting from the field and 0-of-6 from three-point range. He was outshined by several teammates, including Myles Colvin, Sebastian Akins, and Tre’Von Spillers.ESPN
