Mark is also remembered by his in-laws, Martin and Rosaleen Temple, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Reposing at his mother Helen’s home, 24 Gweebarra Parky. The funeral will accept place on Monday, March 16, departing at 9:20 am for Requiem Mass at Holy Family Church, Ballymagroarty at 10:00 am, followed by interment in the City Cemetery.

John Joe Doherty

John Joe Doherty, 52 Edenreagh Road, Eglinton, died on March 12, 2026. He is remembered as the beloved husband of the late Margaret and a loving father to Martin, Paul, Nicola, and Jonathan. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Holly, Nicole, Sophia-Rae, and Lysandra, and his siblings, Harry, Cormac, Con, Neil, Kathleen, Margaret, and the late Willie and Columba.

The funeral will be held from his home on Sunday at 9:20 am, with a 10:00 am funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Church, Tamnaherin, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Liam Doherty

Liam Doherty, of 300 Tamnaherin Road, Cross, passed away peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on March 12, 2026. He is survived by his wife, Anne, and children, John, Claire, Pauline, and Brian, as well as his in-laws, Louise, Ciaran, Peter, and Hemaxi. He was a devoted grandfather and brother to John, Dan, and the late Harry.

Liam will be reposing in his home at 300 Tamnaherin Road, Cross. The funeral will be held on Sunday at 9:20 am, with a 10:00 am funeral Mass at St Mary’s Church, Ardmore, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Family time will be observed from 10:00 pm to 12:00 pm. Michael Havord, formerly of 10 Brickfield Court, Derry, passed away peacefully at Culmore Manor Care Home on March 12, 2026. He is survived by his children, Marie, Karen, Michaela, John, and Alice, as well as his father-in-law Sean, Marty, Fiona and the late Roy, and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Michael’s remains will be reposing at his late home, 10 Brickfield Court. The funeral will exit from there on Monday, March 16, at 9:20 am for a 10:00 am Requiem Mass at St. Mary’s Church, Creggan, followed by burial in the City Cemetery. Ann Murphy (née McGuinness)

Ann Murphy (née McGuinness), of 44 Knockalla Park, Derry, passed away peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on March 13, 2026, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her children, Gerard, Siobhan, Charles, Kevin, Eamon, Jamie, and Chloe, as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and her siblings, Harry, Martina, Paul, Sharon, and Michael, and the late Gerard and Sean.

Ann’s remains will be reposing at her late home, 44 Knockalla Park, from 11:00 am on Saturday, March 14. The funeral will depart from there on Monday, March 16, at 10:20 am for an 11:00 am Requiem Mass at St. Joseph’s Church, Galliagh, followed by burial in the City Cemetery. Lewis William (Lewy) McGonigle

Lewis William (Lewy) McGonigle, of Lilac Avenue, Limavady, passed away suddenly on March 12, 2026, in Las Vegas. He is survived by his father, William, mother, Karen, and sister, Lucy. He was predeceased by his sister, Emma.

Norman Reynolds

Norman Reynolds, of 35 Drumachose Park, Limavady, passed away at his home on Thursday, March 12, 2026. He is survived by his wife, Eileen, and sons, David and Johnathan, and grandchildren Caitlin and Callan.

Viewing will be held on Sunday evening from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Browns Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at Browns Funeral Home on Monday at 11:00 am, followed by burial at Christ Church Burial ground at 12:00 pm. Refreshments will be served in Christ Church hall following the committal. Donations, if desired, can be made payable to Christ Church Building Fund and forwarded to Browns Funeral Directors, 21 Aghanloo Ind Est Aghanloo Road, Limavady.

Eleanor Cochrane Torrens (née Ussher)

Eleanor Cochrane Torrens (née Ussher), formerly of 167 Carrowreagh Road, Garvagh, passed away peacefully at Causeway Hospital on March 13, 2026. She is survived by her children, David, Margaret, Hazel, Elizabeth, Ussher, James, and Sara, as well as her in-laws, Rosemary, Dave, Ken, Trevor, Caroline, Jane, and Raymond, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are welcome to call at her son Ussher’s home, 159 Carrowreagh Road, Garvagh, on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 1:00 pm onwards. A private family committal will be followed by a Service of Thanksgiving in Moneydig Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 2:00 pm. Family flowers only are requested.
