Community Arts Center of Cambria County’s Great American Auction Goes Online for 36th Year
The Community Arts Center of Cambria County (CACCC) will host its 36th annual Great American Auction as an online event, beginning March 1st and concluding with a soft close at 5:00 PM on March 27th, 2026. The auction, a vital fundraiser for the CACCC, aims to raise $10,000 to support its programs and initiatives.
Auction Details and Preview
Bidders can participate online through Mishler Auction Services from March 1st through March 27th. A soft close will begin at 5:00 PM on March 27th. An in-person preview of the auction items will be held on Thursday, March 26th, from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the CACCC site.
Supporting Community Programs
Proceeds from the Great American Auction directly benefit the CACCC’s educational, community engagement, and operating expenses. Funds raised will support classes, workshops, summer camps, and outreach programs for children, adults, and seniors. The CACCC also uses auction proceeds to offer free exhibits, a free Coffee House series, free admission to festivals, free movies, and community programs for underserved populations.
Items Available for Bid
The auction will feature a variety of items, including electronics, gift cards, gift certificates, gift baskets, artwork, furniture, antiques, collectibles, and more. Vacation packages, and new appliances are also available. Items are donated by CACCC members, friends, local businesses, and business leaders. As of March 13th, a list of businesses who donated items, as well as pictures of items up for bid, will be available on the Community Arts Center’s website and will be continuously updated.
Pickup Information
Winning bidders can pick up their items on Saturday, March 28th, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Community Arts Center of Cambria County, located at 1217 Menoher Blvd. In Johnstown, PA. Staff and volunteers will be available to assist with payment and loading.
Donations and Volunteering
