The 55-square-meter space, designed in collaboration with OMA/AMO, embodies Stone Island’s core values of material research, innovation, and community . The design incorporates a minimalist and industrial aesthetic, utilizing materials like cork, charred wood, and sand-sprayed resins to reflect the brand’s commitment to experimentation . The two-story interior features functional design elements, including a digital chandelier and a “Massive Object” display for current collections.
‘A Sorpres’ – A Film Celebrating Naples
Directed by Glenn Kitson and produced by nss, ‘A Sorpres’ (meaning “by surprise” in Neapolitan dialect) retraces Stone Island’s history with Naples, focusing on the Resina market, a popular location for discovering surplus garments and early Stone Island pieces . The documentary features interviews with writer Roberto Saviano and collector Alfredo Formisano, highlighting how the brand’s military-inspired designs became integrated into Naples’ cultural identity .
