Air India and Air India Express Maintain Flight Services to West Asia on March 17, 2026

On March 17, 2026, Air India and Air India Express will collectively operate 44 scheduled and non-scheduled flights to and from the West Asia region. Both carriers will continue scheduled operations to Muscat and Jeddah, with adjustments made to accommodate ongoing operational conditions.

Scheduled Flight Operations

Air India will operate its scheduled return flights between Delhi and Jeddah, as well as two flights from Mumbai. Air India Express will maintain its scheduled service to and from Kozhikode. Air India Express will operate scheduled flights to and from Muscat, serving Delhi, Kochi (with two services), Kozhikode, Mangalore, Mumbai, and Tiruchirappalli.

Non-Scheduled and Ad Hoc Flights

Beyond scheduled services, a total of 24 non-scheduled flights will be operated by Air India and Air India Express to and from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Saudi Arabia. These flights are subject to slot availability and prevailing conditions at departure stations and have received the necessary permissions from Indian and local regulatory authorities.

UAE Flight Details

  • Dubai: No scheduled or ad hoc operations.
  • Abu Dhabi: Ad hoc operations via Air India Express – Bengaluru, Delhi, Kochi, Kozhikode, Mumbai.
  • Ras Al Khaimah: Ad hoc operations via Air India Express – Delhi, Kochi, Kozhikode.
  • Sharjah: Ad hoc operations via Air India Express – Kannur, Mangalore.
  • Al Ain: No scheduled or ad hoc operations.

Oman Flight Details

  • Muscat: Scheduled operations via Air India Express – Delhi, Kochi (x2), Kozhikode, Mumbai, Tiruchirappalli.
  • Salalah: No scheduled or ad hoc operations.

Saudi Arabia Flight Details

  • Jeddah: Scheduled operations via Air India – Delhi, Mumbai (x2) and Air India Express – Kozhikode.
  • Riyadh: Ad hoc operations via Air India – Delhi and Air India Express – Kozhikode.
  • Dammam: No scheduled or ad hoc operations.

Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and Israel will not have any scheduled or ad hoc operations on March 17, 2026.

Continued Operations to Other Regions

All Air India flights to and from North America, Europe, Australia, and other regions will continue to operate according to their existing schedules.
