Northwestern Women’s Swim & Dive Team Heads to NCAA Championships
EVANSTON, Ill. – The Northwestern Wildcats women’s swimming and diving team is set to compete at the NCAA Division I Championships, taking place from Wednesday, March 18, through Saturday, March 21, at the McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Six Northwestern athletes have qualified for the prestigious event, promising a strong showing for the Wildcats.
Wildcats Competing
Five Northwestern swimmers will participate in the championships:
- Zoe Nordmann (500-yard Freestyle, 1650-yard Freestyle)
- Lindsay Ervin (200-yard Freestyle Relay)
- Ekaterina Nikonova (200-yard Freestyle Relay)
- Audrey Yu (200-yard Freestyle Relay)
- Amy Pan (200-yard Freestyle Relay)
Representing Northwestern in diving will be Isabella Chen, who qualified for the Platform competition following a top-10 finish (478.95) at the NCAA Zone C Diving Championships. Her platform event is scheduled for March 21, 2026.
Championship Schedule
Here’s a breakdown of the events Northwestern athletes will be competing in:
- Wednesday, March 18: 1650-yard Freestyle, 200-yard Medley Relay, 800-yard Freestyle Relay
- Thursday, March 19: 100-yard Butterfly, 400-yard Individual Medley, 200-yard Freestyle, 100-yard Breaststroke, 200-yard Freestyle Relay, One-meter diving
- Friday, March 20: 100-yard Backstroke, 200-yard Breaststroke, 500-yard Freestyle, 50-yard Freestyle, 400-yard Medley Relay, Three-meter diving
- Saturday, March 21: 200-yard Individual Medley, 100-yard Freestyle, 200-yard Butterfly, 200-yard Backstroke, 400-yard Freestyle Relay, Platform diving
