Frank Miller Draws First-Ever Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Cover for Landmark 300th Issue

Comic book legend Frank Miller has created the cover art for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #300, a milestone release from IDW Publishing. This marks Miller’s first foray into illustrating the iconic heroes in a half-shell, a moment celebrated by fans and creators alike.

A Full-Circle Moment for TMNT and Miller

The collaboration is particularly significant given the profound influence Miller’s perform, especially his Daredevil run, had on the creation of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Co-creators Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird have openly acknowledged drawing inspiration from Miller’s gritty, action-packed style when developing the Turtles in the early 1980s.

“It was fun to jump into the playground with the Ninjas for this cover and reminisce that they were born by Peter and Kevin as homage to my Daredevil run,” Miller said in a statement. The Hollywood Reporter

In addition to Miller’s cover, new artwork will be provided by Eastman and Laird themselves, as well as J. Scott Campbell and Juan Ferreyra. Some versions will be available in blind bags, adding an element of surprise for collectors.
