Gimhae City Hall Claims Victory at 2026 National Spring Hockey Championships
(Seoul = Yonhap News) – Gimhae City Hall secured the championship title in the men’s general division of the 2026 National Spring Men’s and Women’s Hockey Championships, defeating Seongnam City Hall 3-1 on March 26th at the Donghae Sunrise Hockey Stadium in Gangwon-do.
The tournament featured a full league format with participation from Gimhae City Hall, Seongnam City Hall, Incheon City Sports Council, and the Armed Forces Athletic Corps. Gimhae City Hall finished first with a record of two wins and one draw.
Incheon City Sports Council achieved one win and two draws, while the Armed Forces Athletic Corps recorded two draws and one loss. Seongnam City Hall concluded with one draw and two losses.
Gimhae City Hall’s coach, Heo Sang-young, expressed his satisfaction with the team’s performance, stating, “This victory is a testament to the collective effort of all our players. We are committed to furthering the development of Korean hockey through continued dedication and improvement.”
