Early Life and Career
Born in Ballyanny, Nenagh, Mr. Slattery had a long association with Agritech. He served as the lifetime president of Kildangan GAA Club, demonstrating a deep commitment to Gaelic games in the region.
Family and Loss
Mr. Slattery was predeceased by his wife, Mary, his sister Margaret O’Brien, and his brothers Billy and Bishop Hugh. He likewise mourned the loss of his son-in-law, Adrian King (New Zealand), and his granddaughter, Martha.
Survivors
He is survived by his sons Eoin, Seamus, and Brian; his daughter Sinéad; his sister Sr. Clare (Shelia); daughters-in-law Kathleen, Gretta, and Avril; and grandchildren Oisín, Sorcha, Elise, Éala, Rían, Lauren, Eimear, Briana, Dara, Hannah, Aoibhínn, Alexander, Alannah, Selena, and Avril’s daughter Aila. He is also remembered by his great-grandchildren, Donnacha and Elle, as well as numerous nephews, nieces, relatives, work colleagues, and friends.
