Provinces of a dozen autonomous communities will have a risk (yellow) this Friday due to rain, snowfall, wind or coastal phenomena, according to the State Meteorology Agency (AEMET).
The rain warning, which may accumulate 40 to 60 liters per square meter in 12 hours will affect the provinces of Huelva, Cádiz, Córdoba and Seville.
Furthermore, they will have risk of snowfall which can leave about 5 centimeters of thickness in Huesca and Lleida from 1,400 meters, while the yellow warnings for winds of up to 70 or 80 kilometers per hour have been activated for the provinces of Tarragona, Castellón, Teruel, Guadalajara, Balearic Islands, Alicante, Murcia, Almería, Córdoba, Granada and Jaén.
Meanwhile, Tarragona, Castellón, the Balearic Islands, Alicante, Murcia, Almería, Granada, the Autonomous City of Melilla, Cantabria and Guipúzcoa will be at risk from coastal phenomena. For their part, in the Canary Islands all the islands will have a rain warning and La Palma, La Gomera, El Hierro and Tenerife will be at risk, also due to storms.
In general, the highlight of this first day of December will be the locally heavy rainfall in the Canary Islandsthe intervals of strong wind on the coasts of the Cantabrian Sea, southeast of the peninsula, under the Ebro and the Balearic Islands and snowfall from 800 meters in the Pyrenees.
