Cavese 1919 has appointed 54-year-old Milanese tactician Cristiano Masitto as head coach for the upcoming season. The move signals a homecoming for the manager, who previously secured a promotion to Serie B as a player with Savoia. The appointment is the centerpiece of a technical restructuring designed to cement the club’s professional standing. Preseason preparations begin at the Stadio Simonetta Lamberti, running from July 13 to August 1.

Masitto arrives with a staff that balances fresh expertise with established club knowledge. Vice-coach Salvatore Bevo and athletic trainer Matteo Pantaleoni—who joins from Juve Stabia—anchor the new appointments.
