Elise’s artistic contributions consist of painting clothing onto impressionist nudes as a protest against patriarchal norms regarding “ancient bush” art. Her tutor, Professor Phoenix (played by Harry Greenwood), quickly critiques her work for lacking ambition, advising her to be far more radical.

Heeding that advice, Elise teams up with Barbara, a fashion influencer played by Natasha Liu Bordizzo who is already facing backlash from campus jocks. Getting drunk, the pair vandalizes a heritage-listed university statue with a mallet to protest the patriarchy before heading home.
The following morning brings a gruesome shock. The castrated corpse of the campus’s star rugby player is discovered directly at the base of the damaged statue.

With Elise facing the loss of her scholarship and Barbara risking her endorsement income if their political vandalism comes to light, the two characters desperately attempt to hide the evidence.
Subsequent victims include a men’s rights activist who faces a similar fate. It all drives an erratic narrative that blends campus satire with a comedic murder investigation.
