The updated title brings absurd arcade action to modern platforms. It packs new playable characters, stages, minigames, and four-player local cooperative play.

The upcoming remaster reconstructs the original 1993 side-scrolling brawler entirely in high-definition.
Players once again step into the cleats of the League-Man squad. Their mission: retrieve a stolen golden baseball statue from the Baseball Hall of Fame.
Game details released for the project show players using baseball-themed attacks, throws, combos, and special moves. These mechanics drive the battle against waves of enemies across diverse stages.
Pink Steps Out of the Dugout
The original arcade cabinet limited players to four specific heroes. Bases Loaded changes that lineup.
It makes Pink—who previously served strictly as a supporting character—a fully playable fighter. This roster expansion allows fans to experience quirky baseball-themed combat with a brand-new combatant style.
Developers built the updated release for modern hardware. The target platforms include Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Physical editions are already confirmed for Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5.
Couch Co-Op and Arranged Modes
The remaster supports up to four players in local cooperative play for the main campaign, leaning into couch co-op rather than online matchmaking.
Beyond the core adventure, the title introduces a high-difficulty Arranged Mode. This mode remixes enemy placements and introduces fresh levels.
Players can also take a break from the main brawler campaign to tackle new minigames. These additions include a Home Run Derby for high scores and chaotic racing events.
Keisuke Yasui Delivers a Remixed Score
Audio gets a complete refresh courtesy of composer Keisuke Yasui. He arranged an entirely new background music score for the project.
According to the game’s official feature list, players are not locked into the new compositions. An in-game option lets users switch freely between the original arcade soundtrack and the newly arranged tracks at any time.
