Customers can file claims through the official settlement website at SmartphoneAISettlement.com. Claimants must provide basic personal information, including their name, address, and phone number, alongside the serial number of the qualifying iPhone, which is accessible through the device settings menu. Each eligible device qualifies for a single cash payment, meaning customers who purchased multiple qualifying phones must submit separate claims for each individual unit.

The settlement website offers multiple disbursement options, including PayPal, Venmo, direct deposit, and physical checks.
Apple continues to deny liability and wrongdoing, maintaining that the agreement does not constitute an admission of guilt. A federal court in San Jose, California, has scheduled a final approval hearing for February 24, 2027. Eligible owners have until December 21, 2026, to submit their claims. The settlement administrator states that payments will be processed promptly once the agreement receives final court approval and clears any potential appeals.
