UNCW Opens Scoring in First Half, Charleston Equalizes
UNCW took an early lead in the 40th minute. The Cougars responded in the 51st minute when Arnau Olle converted a free kick, sending the ball into the right side of the net. Olle’s goal marked his second of the season.
UNCW Reclaims Advantage in Second Half
The Seahawks regained the lead in the 78th minute. Despite 10 shot attempts, the Cougars were unable to level the match again. The 10 shot attempts marked the fifth time this season the team has eclipsed double digits in shots.
