The 2027 tour rollout avoided the severe general sale frenzy, soaring prices, and widespread queuing that marked the band’s 2024 sale of the band’s comeback concerts in 2025. Access to the sale required fans to register in advance and receive unique access codes through random selection, eliminating a traditional general sale window. For the Slane Castle dates featuring support from former Verve frontman Richard Ashcroft, standard front standing tickets cost €211.25, while general admission tickets were priced at €181.25, with an additional €10.50 service charge attached to each ticket.
VIP packages for the concert reached €501.25. That top-tier price tier included a reserved grandstand, a dedicated entry area, free parking, access to an exclusive hospitality area, and premium toilet facilities.
Tour Expansion and Festival Context
Promoters confirmed that no additional dates will be added to the Irish leg of the Live ’27 tour following the initial rollout of 38 shows and subsequent additions in Knebworth, Munich, and Rome. The September concerts mark a historic booking for Slane Castle, as it will be the first time the venue hosts two separate headline acts in the same summer-early autumn window, following Fontaines DC headlining two nights at the venue at the end of June.
