Irish comedian Kyla Cobbler and her husband, Simon Stewart, have announced that they are expecting their first child together. The Cork-born comedian shared the news on Instagram on Wednesday morning.
Cobbler, 35, posted a selfie of herself and Stewart holding a positive pregnancy test, alongside a screengrab of an ultrasound showing an expected arrival date of April 2027. She captioned the post happy thank you more please
along with a tag for her husband, referencing the title of her memoir, which was published earlier this month.
Wedding and How the Couple Met
The exciting pregnancy announcement comes just months after Cobbler and Stewart tied the knot in June with an intimate ceremony in Cork. At the time, she shared photos from their wedding showing the newlyweds posing together and displaying their wedding rings.
Cobbler previously acknowledged that comedy brought her husband into her life after they met when he was in the third row of a comedy show. She told the Irish Examiner that she had previously given up on love, expressing her belief that when a person chooses what they love, their partner arrives.
