Global technology company Valeo is heading to the Paris Motor Show from October 12 to 18, 2026, to showcase its latest advancements in software-defined vehicles, artificial intelligence, and vehicle electrification. Exhibiting in Hall 5.3 at Booth 53A51, Valeo is positioning itself as a primary partner for automakers racing to scale emerging technologies while shrinking vehicle development cycles down to a few months.
Christophe Périllat on Industry-Wide Technological Acceleration
Valeo Chief Executive Officer Christophe Périllat stated that the upcoming exhibition illustrates a period of full technological acceleration across the automotive sector. “Today, thanks to our AI and software leadership, we are bringing development cycles down to a few months,” Périllat said, according to company statements. He emphasized that speed matters only when it delivers safer, smarter, more sustainable, and more affordable mobility, noting that most vehicles displayed across the show floor will feature Valeo technology.
The company enters the 2026 exhibition following a strong financial period. According to corporate records, Valeo reported €20.9 billion in sales for 2025, supported by a global workforce of 100,000 employees operating across 29 countries, 149 production plants, and 59 research and development centers.
Software-Defined Vehicles and Autonomous Driving Platforms
At the center of Valeo’s 2026 showcase is the transition toward software-defined vehicles (SDVs), which rely on continuous Over-The-Air (OTA) updates. The manufacturer is presenting several foundational platforms:
- Valeo anSWer: A comprehensive software platform suite that supplies automakers with field-proven applications, scalable middleware, and cloud digital twin validation.
- Valeo Smart Safety 360 (VSS360): A “1-Box” architecture engineered to support vehicle automation stages, ranging from essential Level 1 and Level 2 ADAS safety features up to Level 2+ Highway Navigation on Autopilot (NOA).
- Valeo SCALA 3 LiDAR: Multi-sensor hardware designed for advanced Level 3 and Level 4 unsupervised driving up to 130 km/h, capable of detecting obstacles over 200 meters away when system liability replaces human oversight.
- Valeo Racer XR: An in-car entertainment platform utilizing on-board sensors powered by multi-modal AI and deep learning to deliver gaming experiences.
Smart Electrification and Sustainable Mobility Solutions
Valeo is also highlighting hardware innovations aimed at reducing environmental impact and improving charging efficiency. Key exhibits in the smart electrification category include the Valeo Skateboard Power integrated 800V platform and a Single-Fluid Cooling System capable of achieving an 80% charge in 12 minutes while lowering a battery’s carbon footprint by 50%.
Additional hardware on display includes the Compact 5-Way Refrigerant Valve, Made-in-France 800V Silicon Carbide (SiC) inverters, bidirectional AC chargers supporting Vehicle-to-Home and Vehicle-to-Grid (V2H/V2G) capabilities, and the Valeo Cyclee 48V eBike system.
Driver Safety Systems and Circular Economy Initiatives
Safety enhancements featured at the booth include Adaptive Driving Beam (ADB) technology, High Definition Pixel Lighting capable of up to 1.3 million pixels, and 360-degree ground projections designed to warn vulnerable road users. The display also highlights AquaBlade wiping technology, which saves 288 milliseconds of reaction time and reduces stopping distance by four meters at 50 km/h, alongside the Panovision Panoramic HUD with integrated driver monitoring hazard alerts.
To support sustainable manufacturing, Valeo draws on 45 years of expertise to provide remanufactured advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) cameras, headlamps, and electronics designed to perform as good as new. Meanwhile, the Valeo Tech Academy utilizes hands-on simulators to upskill automotive repair professionals.

Valeo’s presence at Hall 5.3, Booth 53A51 runs through the duration of the public exhibition, with dedicated media sessions scheduled for the opening days:
- Monday, October 12 (Press Day): A press lunch with speakers takes place from 12:00 to 14:00 at the Valeo booth, followed by a press conference hosted by CEO Christophe Périllat from 15:45 to 16:00.
